Facilities Asset Coordinator

Full Time • TEXAS - Van
This position is critical to the ministry of Sky Ranch and contributes directly to our mission of leading youth and families to know and follow Christ. The Facilities Asset Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to serve in the day-to-day operations of Sky Ranch. They will report directly to the Senior Facilities Manager and will assist with various administrative tasks including requisition orders, maintenance requests, regulatory guidelines, and following-up with both internal and external managers/vendors. These responsibilities also include overseeing Sky Ranch’s physical assets by using our current asset management program, Asset Panda. In addition to using Asset Panda to manage camp assets, the facilities coordinator will provide organizational support for allocation and licensing of vehicles and radio. This position will require a person who is attentive to the needs of others and who has a skill set that requires an attention to details. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Assist in requisitions of equipment for facilities including review of vendor qualifications. 
  • Oversee asset management program. 
  • Assist with various maintenance administrative needs. 
  • Provide support for inventory management. 
  • Maintain vehicle registrations. 
  • Support organizational tasks related to regulatory agencies to provide timely submittals. 
  • Provide general administrative support to Senior Director of Facilities 
  • Support and help develop organizational standards that provide the needs structure for asset management. 
  • Checking out vehicles to staff 
  • Manage radio inventory. 
  • Manage keys and coordinate with Maintenance concerning door locks. 
  • Maintain Toll Tags for vehicles. 
  • Maintain radio licenses. 
  • Operate within a defined budget. 
  • Meet or exceed ACA, OSHA, state, and other industry standards. 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide periodic asset analysis and reports. 
  • Collaborate with other team members. 
  • Perform other duties as required. 

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 
  •  Support of Facilities: Provide administrative support for Senior Facilities Manager.   
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred, especially education focused on business/organizational management skills 

EXPERIENCE 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of organizational/business experience 

KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint) or similar 
  • Knowledge of safety procedures appropriate to duties. 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. 
  • Proficient working knowledge and ability to use various office software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry or otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles and foot and/or hand-eye coordination. 
  • Work requires a lot of physical agility for doing majority of assigned work, including but not limited to: bending for items below or reaching for items above the individual; crawling under desks; stooping, and climbing step stools or ladder.
 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 
  • Working conditions are an indoor/outdoor environment where temperatures exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months and reach levels below freezing in the winter. 
  • Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping, office ergonomics, and other environmental hazards.
